How Long Does the Treatment Take?

Knee decompression sessions typically last under 20 minutes and are scheduled three times per week for about a month. As your condition improves, treatment progresses from passive to more active therapies. Many patients begin to feel significant relief within just 6 to 10 sessions, and most complete the program within 8 weeks.

A comprehensive treatment plan that strengthens and supports the ligaments, tendons, and muscles surrounding the knee is essential for long-term success. Rehabilitation may include targeted exercises and supportive therapies such as heat, electrical muscle stimulation, ultrasound, and cold therapy to promote healing and restore proper function.

To maintain results and reduce the risk of future issues, we recommend a regular home exercise program along with occasional follow-up visits to our office. Our goal is to not only relieve pain but also restore strength, stability, and long-term knee joint health.

Destination Regen - Our Method

At Destination Regen we practice The Gonstead System of Chiropractic. This system of chiropractic uses in-depth analysis of the patient’s structure and symptoms to identify the specific vertebra causing the trouble.

These vertebrae are then adjusted with a precise angle and force creating a unique adjustment for each individual.

How Does Knee Decompression Work?

This gentle, non-surgical procedure is designed to relieve knee pain caused by conditions such as joint degeneration, inflammation, and pressure buildup within the knee joint. It offers a state-of-the-art approach for those suffering from osteoarthritis, meniscus injuries, and chronic knee stiffness.

Using controlled distractive forces, knee decompression gently separates the joint surfaces to reduce pressure, enhance circulation, and promote the flow of oxygen and nutrients to the affected area.

During treatment, the knee undergoes a series of rhythmic stretching and relaxation cycles that gradually reach therapeutic levels over several minutes, helping to reduce pain and improve mobility.
